There once was a boy named Charlie,
he was just like you and me.
He had 5 fingers, 5 toes,
Charlie went through life not caring,
not responsible and not daring.
He would disrespect his parents, even jay-walk in the street;
he would back stab his friends, and would not retreat.
If you hated Charlie, you had the right;
but to confront him was a fright.
He would lash and bash, he had no shame;
because everyone else was to blame.
When times were tough and everything was shattered,
he looked to things he thought mattered.
But something was missing, nothing would fit;
like a lost puzzle piece in an adaptor kit.
Then one night he was wondering what it was all about;
he was thinking and pondering how he, had fouled out.
Was it his car? a scar? beer? a few smoked here and there?
school? a dried up pool? liberal fools?
a preacher? adventure? it could've been a lost friend,
there seemed to be no end.
Then one mourning at a lonely day at school,
when the sunshine outside everybody else saw, seemed to be raining drool.
He went to the the bathroom and everything was still,
he looked in the mirror and saw the real deal.
You could have heard a pin drop, even a squirrel fart;
because Charlie realised he didn't have a heart.
| A journal entry:
Dear Lord,
Help me bring more happieness than gloom; Help me to make more laughter than tears; and to spread more cheer than despair.
Don't ever let me get so big that I fail to see the joy in others. To see the wonder in the eyes of a child or a smile on the face the aged.
Help me laugh at myself and reach out to others.
May I share my faith unapoligetically, whole-heartly and without fear. keep my eyes open for people with special needs, and let others counsel me.
But God, don't let me forget I am Andrew Nelson, son of two god fearing parents and brother to a wonderful, lost sister. I am a worker in your name. My job is too cheer people up, counsel them, come to you through prayer and read the Bible.
Help me be the type of person that when others are around they forget, at least for a moment, all the unpleasant things in their lives.
Never let me require financial success or social conquests to the point I will discontiue calling upon my Creator in the hour of plenty.
And Lord, in my final moment may I hear you whisper:
"When you made my people smile, You made me smile."
And to Him who turns darkness to light.
In the name of Big Brotha Jesus!

| It's my birthday I'm 16 and I still can't drive
Quote Of The Day: "Happy Birthday!"
Well today was my birthday and I feel good too. It's crazy. I didn't think it was that big of a deal before today, but when I woke up this mourning I had this new, rejuvenated, happy attitude and feeling. Anyone else have that? Just me?
F.Y.I: I loooooooooooooooooooooove birthday cake.
| My Birthday is soon, veeeeeeeeeeeeery soon....
Quote of the day: "Merry Christmas, ya filthy animal..."
- Home Alone 2
Same as usual. Got report cards and I'm doing quite well in my classes. School is not fun, what so ever. I'm not challenged. I don't feel at home there at all. No sense. My senses seem off as soon as I walk through the doors. I've found myself lately just sitting in my bed, looking at the cieling, and thinking....
F.Y.I: I love to dance and sing, both, I can't do.
